Short story of a granada
These special fruits ripen under the intense Mediterranean sun. In Andalusia, the pomegranate is more than just a fruit - it is a symbol.
"Granada", my favourite city in Andalusia, is named after it.
Its flavour: Mildly sweet to slightly tart. Light to deep red, sometimes yellowish-golden skin. The seeds, bright ruby red, almost like small gemstones.
It’s a fascinating, yet long process – and a real challenge – to respond to all these impressions and flavor sensations (whether as juice, fresh from the tree, on its own, or paired with goat cheese) using nothing but color.
